With sea levels rising at an unprecedented rate, Singapore will be spending $5 billion in the coming decades to defend our shores from the rising tides. As the national coastal protection agency, PUB needed to get Singaporeans behind these plans. But how do we get people to support something they have no interest in?
To make coastal protection relevant to the everyman, we created Sea-rius Li, a character that represents the typical, skeptical Singaporean. He wants to know everything, yet doesn't believe anything people tell him.
In our 3-part series, Sea-rius goes on a quest to uncover all there is to learn about sea level rise and coastal protection From conducting experiments at East Coast Park to going undercover as an intern to exploring mangrove forests, there's nothing he won't do to convince himself (and everyone else) to take sea level rise... well... seriously!

FILM SERIES
From creating a distinctive look and voice to crafting his personality and quirks, we worked closely with local funny man Alaric Tay to bring Sea-rius Li to life.
